Kip's bluebird has laid 5 eggs. But his feeder still attracts colorful birds. I was thrilled to see a rose breasted grosbeak with the ever present goldfinch.
Just seconds after I captured this picture, an indigo bunting appeared (but maybe it is a blue grosbeak?).

I think it's a bunting barb. Check out the video I grabbed today on feedmecam ustream & notice the head color difference & how it resembles your shot here. The blue grosbeak was around a few weeks ago and to me it looked like a blue cardinal (first sighting for me).
